Lower your breast cancer risk by exercising!  Matter of fact, you can lower many health risks such as cancer, diabetes and hypertension by exercising regularly.  Two studies have linked regular exercise with a lower risk of developing breast cancer.

Researchers at Washington University in St. Louis found that women can reduce breast cancer risk before menopause.  The study was done on girls and women between the ages of 12 and 35.   The females in this study exercised regularly.

Another study performed at the University of Melbourne in Australia was done on physically active women.  These women were 25% less likely to get breast cancer.  These women played sports, participated in other physical activities and had been through menopause.

The take home lesson is this:  lead an active life and exercise regularly throughout your life!  This will give you the best chance to stay healthy!
